Manager of Policy
As the manager of policy for Medicaid Health Plans of America, Kirby Greissing assists federal affairs lobbyists with legislative analysis and is responsible for managing policy consultant relationships and internal policy workgroups. In addition, she represents the trade association and engages with other members of the health ecosystem often providing critical policy analysis.
Kirby is a seventh-generation Washingtonian who grew up in McLean, Va., and attended Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, Md. In high school she worked at the National Institute of Health's Center for Cancer Research as well as the Children's Inn. She graduated from Georgetown University where she received her bachelor’s degree in health care management and policy, with a focus on health policy. While at Georgetown she interned for U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, focusing on electronic health records. After graduating in 2014 she worked for the Galen Institute as a health policy analyst.
